Once a year, the R/C Social Chair hosts a planning party for all social event chairs as well as any other interested residents. This group plans the River Crossing Social Calendar for the year. Each event has its own Chair and in most cases, a group of folks forming that event's 'committee'. For calendar year 2010, River Crossing has planned for the following social events:

Garden Club
 The River Crossing Garden Club meets at a local home the first Monday of each month, September through May, at 9:30 AM. We are a mix of men and women who share a common interest in nature, the out of doors, and gardening. Our activities vary each month and often times take us to places of special interest to the season. Flicks for Chicks - Season 6
 Flicks for Chicks is a social outing for River Crossing residents and all are invited. We meet at the Hwy 46 mail boxes and car pool to the theater, either Northwoods or Embassy. We catch the early show so we can return in time for family activities. Please call and join us, meet your neighbors while enjoying movies with friends. Parents of Preschoolers (RC POPs)
 Parents of Preschoolers (RC POPs) is open to all River Crossing property owners. It is a social group for parents of young children and their preschoolers.
