County Rules for Improvements along Street Right-of-Way

Comal County adopted the Comal County Construction within the Public Right-of-Way or Across County Road Order, which requires persons desiring to construct private improvements within the public right-of-way (PIPROW) to obtain a PIPROW Permit through the Comal County Engineers Office. The POA Board provides an overview.

In general, the Public Right-of-Way extends approximately 19 feet from the edge of the public road. See a diagram depicting the right-of-way HERE. The Comal County Engineer provides online access to the full ORDER and an application FORM.

Rules & Application Form for Group Usage of River Crossing Park

River Crossing has both a private Sports Park and a private River Park. Both parks are available for use by R/C residents. To apply for group usage (Scouts, Church, Family, Sports Team, etc.) a R/C resident must agree to be the 'sponsor' of the event and be present at the event the entire time, read and agree to the Group Activity Usage Rules, and submit an application along with a refundable deposit.
